Spring Valley is one of the Memorial Villages and was incorporated residential community, is located north of Interstate Highway 10. In 1936 it had a church and cemetery at the townsite. The town, which first comprised an area of 1½ square miles, was incorporated by 1955.
Spring Valley only allowed 1 story homes to be built and in 1981 two story homes were allowed. Spring Valley Police department look after Spring Valley and Hilshire Village, 24/7. The Memorial Villages Fire Department looks after all the villages. |
