Until the 1940s, the entire Memorial area was made up of farms and
woodlands, and the tract we know as Creekside was part of a 100-acre spread owned by the Sauer family who ran a successfull Hog Farm. In the 1940's developers turned their eyes to Memorial to convert it into a desirable residential area. Creekside Manor is made up of 68 homes on lots that range from 1/2-2/3's of an acre and was eventually annexed to Hunters Creek Village. |
